Focus on The Effect of Dietary Pumpkin (Cucurbita Moschata) Seed Oil Supplementation on Productive Performance of Growing Rabbits

The present study was designed to investigate pumpkin seed oil's effect on body weight, digestive enzymes' activity, and the metabolic antioxidant parameters of growing rabbits. This performed using two groups 8-weeks old New Zealand White rabbits (NZW) (n=10/ each group). experiment lasted for eight weeks. animals were divided randomly either control group fed a basal diet (C) or experimental with supplemented 5 g oil/kg (P). Results revealed significant increase in blood glucos levels, total lipids protein, serum amylase activities, lipase, protease. Significant improvements antioxidative also observed. In conclusion, benefits shown this support further research into use dietary supplementation oil increasing productivity
